Faculty BRUCE R. SMOLLER, M.D. 
Dr. Smoller graduated from Dartmouth College in 1979 and received his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1983. He did a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He then did a fellowship in dermatopathology at Cornell University-New York Hospital and stayed on as an assistant professor. He joined the faculty at Stanford University Medical Center in 1990 and assumed the directorship of the dermatopathology unit. He was promoted to full professor of Pathology and Dermatology in 1996. Dr. Smoller relocated to UAMS in 1997 where he serves as a professor in the departments of Pathology and Dermatology and is the director of the Division of Dermatopathology.
