 The Delta
Area Health Education Center is an outreach of the University of
Arkansas for Medical Science, serving Crittenden, Phillips, Lee, St.
Francis, Chicot, Monroe, and Desha counties. The Delta AHEC mission is to
enhance health care access and health status, through recruitment and
retention of health care professionals, professional education, and public
health education in a seven county area of the Arkansas Delta.
