How to put on examination gloves

Step 1. Remove any sharp jewelry. Remove glove from box. Gloves come in small, medium, and large. Most Gloves are rubber latex and have been pre-powdered. Vinyl gloves will be provided to those who are allergic to latex. Gloves are also available without powder.

Step 2A. Hold the glove with your thumb and forefinger, then carefully insert hand into gloves.

Step 2B. Work your fingers into the proper places. Pull the glove over the heel of your hand. |

How to remove examination gloves |

Step 1. Using your forefinger and thumb on one hand, pull the bottom of the glove away from the other hand and peel gloved back off your hand. |
|
Step 2. To remove the other glove, use the inside out portion of the first glove you just removed to start the process on the second glove. You do not want your fingers to touch the outside of the gloves. Both gloves should be inside out when they are removed.This will prevent exposure to blood or other possibly infectious fluids on the gloves.
