The three racks contain video and audio processing units, switches, and DVR's. The touch panel on the counter controls the system. The computer to the far right runs a web-based timer which is fed through the control system for automated announcements	14 Mac minis running Yellowdog Linux, are used to encode video. Converters on top of the computers convert the signal from analog to digital. The computers encode the signal to MPEG4 and send the files to a server.
	A 42-inch plasma display in the control room allows the control room operator to monitor all 14 rooms, plus the SP hallway and the center corridor. The control room operator can use the touch panel to set camera angles and switch cameras
