CAHME, the accrediting body for healthcare management education programs,
requires that program graduates demonstrate competence in 19 content areas,
and 3 practice relevant domains. After the review of several competency
models and course materials, the MHSA faculty developed a list of 71 program
specific competencies which students are to master by the time of
graduation.
