Office of Community-Based Public Health

Faculty Advisory Committee

The purpose of the committee is to facilitate the development of community-driven public health demonstrations. 

Activities include:

  1. Promote and support the development of collaborations among the CBPH partners (community organizations, the health department, and COPH faculty

  2. Encourage the participation of the partnering community organizations in research, teaching and service activities.

Structure:

The committee is composed of six members, representing each of the six departments of the COPH. They are annually appointed by their Departmental Chair.  The Committee, at its from meeting of the academic year, elects a committee chair.
