Smoke-Free Hospital Toolkit coverSmoke-free Hospitals
Arkansas hospitals and their campuses will be smoke-free October 1, 2005. In order to assist hospitals with this process, the UAMS College of Public Health has published the Smoke-free Hospital Toolkit, a comprehensive look at the objectives and processes required to establish and implement a campus-wide smoke-free hospital policy. An overview of objectives is provided in the booklet and a myriad of supportive resources are located on a CD-ROM. Both items are available for download. Numerous institutions and facilities contributed to this publication and have generously granted their permission to distribute their work.

The above programs are funded through a contract with the Department of Health and Human Services
Division of Health Tobacco Prevention and Education Program
