Library Privileges

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy values your contribution in providing experiential education to our students. In response to preceptor feedback we are pleased to announce that we are augmenting our preceptor benefits by enhancing access to UAMS. Preceptors will have improved access to UAMS resources including email, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences library. In addition, you will also be able to obtain materials through Interlibrary Loan at no cost. This package expands preceptor access to all of the UAMS library's on-line resources including PubMed with full-text articles from journals in the library's collection and information databases such as the Lexi-Comp on-line access and DynaMed. With this access comes a UAMS e-mail address that will enhance the communication between volunteer preceptors and the College. We are excited that you will now be able to use these resources in your practice and educational activities.

To qualify for this benefit, please fill out the enclosed "Non-Employee Information" sheet and fax back to 501-686-8104. We must also have a copy of your Preceptor Agreement Form on file at the College.
