Requirements of the Experience
Before you start
- Read the manual and call Dr. Hastings, Dr. Pace, or Dr. Neumann (NW) to schedule your mid-point meeting and to get your topic for the final day meeting.
- Required textbook (1 or the other)
- Berardi, RR, et.al., eds. Handbook of Nonprescription Drugs, 15th Edition. Washington, DC; American Pharmacists Association, 2006.
- Pray, WS. Nonprescription Product Therapeutics, 2nd Edition, Baltimore: Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins; 2006.
Mid-point meeting (Dr. Hastings, Dr. Pace, or Dr. Neumann (NW) will visit or call you)
- Present 4 OTC SOAP notes and the OTC topic presentation
Final day meeting
- Turn in 4 OTC SOAP notes and present 2
- Top 200 test
- Present topic discussion (will be assigned by faculty)
