Important Dates for Fall 2008 Admissions

June 23, 2007 PCAT Test – application deadline is May 11, 2007
August 25, 2007 PCAT Test – application deadline is July 13, 2007
October 20, 2007 PCAT Test – application deadline is September 7, 2007
November 1, 2007 Applications for fall 2008 available on website:  www.uams.edu/cop under “Entry level PharmD”
January 19, 2008 PCAT Test – application deadline is December 7, 2007
February 1, 2008 Applications/Record Analysis Fee/Official transcripts must be postmarked on or before this date
Interview dates To be announced
February 15, 2008 All residency evaluation forms must be received by this date.
March 1, 2008 Letters of reference, PCAT scores, TOEFL scores and all other required material must be postmarked on or before this date. 
To be announced Applicants notified by Admissions Committee of disposition of application
June 1, 2008 Acceptance forms, tuition deposit due. 
June 1, 2008 Spring transcripts for accepted applicants and alternates due.
July 15, 2008 All prepharmacy requirements must be completed by this date.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete their prepharmacy coursework by the end of the spring 2008 semester.

 All applicants for the fall 2008 class at the UAMS College of Pharmacy must take the PCAT on or after June 25, 2005.  The changes in scoring and the addition of an essay component to the PCAT beginning with the June 25, 2005 test mean that scores obtained before June 2005 are not comparable and cannot be used by the Admissions Committee.  Apply online to take the PCAT – www.pcatweb.info.

No exceptions to the various Application deadlines set by the Admissions Committee are allowed.  To be sure that your transcripts are postmarked prior to the deadline, request them from the various college registrars the first week in January.
