Admissions Information

Applications, Instructions and Reference forms for the Fall 2009 class will be available on the website on November 1, 2008.

PCAT Notice -- The Psychological Testing Corporation has re-normed all percentile scores for PCAT exams beginning with the June 2008 exam and has re-calculated older PCAT scores to the new norms on the PCAT transcripts provided to the students and the College.  The UAMS College of Pharmacy requires that PCAT scores be submitted for exams taken after June 2005.  If you have not re-taken the PCAT in June 2008 or later, the College will recalculate your old scores according to the conversion tables provided by the Psychological Testing Corporation.  In most cases, the percentile composites are 2 to 8 points lower when scored by the new norms.  If you have not re-taken the PCAT in June 2008 or later and are relying on old test scores, the PCAT percentile scores considered by the Admissions Committee will be somewhat lower than previously.  If you wish to re-take the exam in anticipation of improving your PCAT scores, it is possible to register for the January 2009 PCAT exam through December 12, 2008.  More information is available at www.pcatweb.info.
