UAMS Capital Campaign |
UAMS is embarking on a comprehensive capital campaign entitled
“Imagine the Future of Health Care”. Our goal is to raise more than
$300 million by the end of 2010 to support the hospital expansion
along with vital new funding other UAMS initiatives – research
endowments, faculty chairs, scholarships, lectureships, outreach,
patient services, operating funds, and new facilities.
Imagine the
Future of Health Care is about: Creating personal and professional
opportunities for the UAMS family; Developing new programs; Finding
new resources; Providing better health care to us, our friends and
our family; Being a part of educating the heath care professionals
of tomorrow; Providing better job opportunities; Taking better care
of patients; Doing NOW what it takes to make Arkansas and our world
a healthier place!
As a group of more than 9,000
employees united by our dedication to improving the lives of
Arkansans and people across the country and world, UAMS is the
future of health care. We
teach
the health care professionals of today and tomorrow. We
heal
the sick. We forever
search
for new and innovative ways to create a better, healthier Arkansas
and world. And we
serve
everyone with professionalism and compassion. These four duties are
the cornerstone of our excellence at UAMS, and they are the
convictions that unite us as the UAMS family.
The endeavor to create and publish
a UAMS-wide cookbook is a means to fund-raise and also to spread a
sense of community throughout the UAMS network, as well as to our
extended family in the community/state/nation. |
