Research Council
 The
primary mission of the UAMS College of Medicine Research Council is to
serve as a research advisory body to the Dean of the College of
Medicine. The Council represents the interests of all COM faculty
engaged in research and has ~20 members with broad representation across
many COM departments and divisions. Two major activities of the Council
are to review the COM intramural pilot and bridging grant program and to
conduct the annual Core laboratory and Core Service assessments for the COM
Dean.

The Research Council meets the 3rd Thursday of
each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Biomed I, room 205/207,
unless otherwise notified.
