COM Development
Officers
The
COM Development Officers assigned to Foundations/Corporations act as a point of
contact to best match organizations’ needs and strengths with appropriate
researchers and academicians. They can assist you in the following
areas:

Enhance existing
relationships with corporate suppliers and representatives
-
Develop strategies
for partnering with corporations/foundations and coordinate proposal
preparation
-
Initiate contact with
national, regional and local offices with a potential interest in
supporting your respective area
UAMS has many established relationships with corporations and foundations.
It is important to note that specific protocol are required of nearly all
corporate and foundation proposals. Before approaching a foundation or
corporation for support in your area of research, please coordinate your
effort through the CFR Office.
