Research diversity and excellence are inherent within COM Centers and Institutes. Similar to many Arkansas-based research universities, philanthropic generosity and governmental funding, help to augment communication, research collaboration, and resource development. Clinical excellence, scientific translation, and practical applicability are found in abundance.
COM Centers encompass a broad palette of research
pursuits. Cutting edge advances are ongoing in areas of nutrition, birth
defects, addiction, asthma, pain, osteoporosis, and translational
neuroscience, to name a few.
