Loan Counseling
Federal regulations require students who borrow a
Stafford Loan or a Graduate Plus loan to participate in Entrance and Exit Loan Counseling
when they enter and leave school. Financial Aid
Offices are required to provide you with important information regarding your rights and
responsibilities as a borrower. Entrance Counseling is provided in an online session for
you to complete at your convenience. It must be completed before the Financial Aid Office
is allowed to release any of your loan disbursements. Exit Counseling will cover your
repayment options, and will be offered in person at the end of your senior year of medical
school. It must be completed before you graduate.
