College of Medicine
The UAMS College of Medicine is Arkansas’ only medical school. We are one of six academic units of UAMS, the state’s principal biomedical research center. Our outstanding faculty are on staff at UAMS Medical Center, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, the McClellan Veterans Administration Hospital, the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute and Area Health Education Centers throughout the state.
We strive to help tomorrow’s physicians acquire not only the ultimate in medical skills, but also professional and ethical standards that will aid them in their careers and ensure the very best care for patients.
