Information for Course Directors and Conference Planners Please contact the Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME) early in the planning process of your educational activity, if you are interested in providing AMA PRA Category 1 credit(TM). The OCME has an experienced staff that will be happy to guide you through the application and planning process to ensure that ACCME expectations are met and your event is successful. Since early planning is crucial, applications received within 45 days of the activity will be charged a late fee to facilitate a rush approval process. If it is 30 days or less before the event, approval will not be granted. You can call 501-661-7962 or email lamabry@uams.edu for assistance.
