Alphabetical Procedure List

Stated turnaround times represent the times once the specimen is received in the Lab. Circumstances beyond the laboratory's control may result in these turnaround times not being met. Some common problems that arise that may delay testing include:

1. Wrong patient identification on blood tube or container by non-laboratory personnel.
   
2. Wrong type of container.
   
3. Failure to mark a request STAT.
