Certification and Licensure
Graduation from the
program in Medical Radiography (A.S. degree program) or Radiologic
Imaging Sciences (B.S. degree program) satisfies academic eligibility to
apply to take the national certifying examination given by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Candidates who pass this
examination become Registered Technologists in Radiography [R.T.(R)(ARRT)].
Successful completion of the program does not itself insure
registration. Each student is responsible for familiarizing
himself/herself with the applicable registration requirements.
