Program Overview

The UAMS Pa Program is 28 months in length, and is tentatively planned to start in May and end two years later in August. This is a cohort-based full-time program with a lock-step curriculum. The didactic (classroom) phase of the program is 13 months and the clinical phase of the program is 15 months in length. Students must complete all courses each semester and be in good standing to continue to the next semester. Upon completion of the degree requirements, students are awarded a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
