A grade of "F" or a
mark of "U" or "NC" is not acceptable for progression to the next
semester, nor is it acceptable for graduation if it occurs in the last
semester of the program. A grade of "D" in the following professional
courses is not acceptable for progression to the next semester, nor is
it acceptable for graduation if it occurs in the last semester of the
program: Clinical Practicum II (OPH 3611), Clinical Practicum III (OPH
3412), Clinical Practicum V (OPH 4510) , Clinical Practicum V (OPH
4511), and Clinical Practicum VI (OPH 4412). A first semester student
who passes all courses but achieves a CGPA of less than 2.0 will be
allowed to progress on probation to the second semester if he/she has
achieved a CGPA of at least 1.8 in the professional courses.
A student in
subsequent semesters must maintain a GPA of not less than 2.0 for all
courses taken since entering the program.
