as a review for the identification of pathogens. The visual format
creates an excellent teaching tool for MT/CLS and MLT/CLT students or
for continuing education and cross-training for laboratory
professionals. The atlas contains photographs by Michael Morris--an
award-winning professional photographer.
The easy-to-use program contains test
principles, photographs of positive and negative reactions for
biochemical tests used to identify Acid-fast bacilli, Enterics,
Gram-negative cocci, Haemophilus, Staphlococci and Streptococci.
Special sections of color plates are included for Gram-stain and
hemolysis interpretation, flash plates of characteristic colonies and
media growth characteristics.
The self-loading CD-ROM does not
require the purchase of additional software and is designed to run on
a Pentium grade PC. The package contains the CD-ROM with operating
instructions.
