The Program

The Department of Health Information Management offers the Associate of Science degree in Medical Record Technology. The lecture classes are taught on-line with the exception of four professional practice rotations.

Professional practice experiences are obtained in hospitals and other health care related agencies. Some travel is required. These clinical rotations are scheduled according to the healthcare facilities' policies and necessitate participation during regular working hours.
