CPT Coding Click here for a printable course registration form. This course is designed for individuals involved with coding, billing and abstraction of medical records. Course: The course will meet for ten (10) weeks for two (2) hours per session. Classes will meet in the Health Information Management Classroom on the 8th floor of the Shorey Building at UAMS. Instructor: Karen Smith, RHIA, CPC Materials/Supplies: Students must have access to a current CPT textbook and Workbook. The books, which can be purchased from the UAMS Bookstore (501-686-5497), are kept behind the counter. Just request the continuing education coding class books.
