Cancer Registry HIM Degree Track: Basic Requirements

This track is designed for students interested in pursuing the cancer registry education and the Associate of Science in Medical Record Technology degree (A.S.M.R.T). All classes are offered primarily in the evening, except for the four clinical courses which are offered in the afternoons, and can be completed  either on a part-time or full-time basis. Upon successful completion of this option, students will be eligible to sit for both the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification examination as well as the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification examination.
