Certification and Licensure

Graduation from the program establishes eligibility to apply to take the national registry examination in Cytotechnology given by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of Registry and become registered as a cytotechnologist (CT(ASCP)). Successful completion of the program does not itself insure registration. Each student is responsible for familiarizing himself/herself with the applicable registration requirements.
