Speech Pathology majors should also complete 12 credit hours of Basic Science required by ASHA.  See details below:

 Biological Science
(min. 3 credit hours).  Examples:  Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Zoology, Genetics, Physiology, etc.

2.
 Physical Science
(min. 3 credit hours).  Examples: Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Physical Anthropology, etc.

3.
 Social/Behavioral Science
(min. 3 credit hours).  Examples: Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology, Anthropology, etc.

4.
 Mathematics
(min. 3 credit hours).  Examples: College Algebra, College Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
