Our NSSLHA chapter is a very active one
that enjoys support from the faculty and administration. Members are
routinely involved in activities such as: welcoming incoming graduate
students with a luncheon, and assisting them with the
registration process; fundraising to support attendance at local and
national conventions; increasing awareness of our program and
professions through university and community service; arranging for
professionals to come to our campus to meet with students and share
their professional expertise and experiences; maintaining a job bank for
students and prospective employers; and last but not least, fostering
social interaction among students, and between students and faculty.

proudly sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt for Redwood Early Childhood
Center on April 6, 2007. The kids had a great time with all
2500 eggs donated by NSSHLA! We would like to thank all those
involved for making it such a successful and fun event.
Some of our students
participated in the 2006 Komen Race for the Cure.
