Graduate Assistantships The UALR/UAMS Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology offers a number of graduate assistantships each year to students pursuing masters degrees in speech pathology. In return for receiving the assistantship, the student is required to work approximately 15 hours per week for the agency funding the assistantship, carry a full academic load, and maintain a 3.0 grade point average. Sources for assistantships vary from year to year. Most are sponsored by outside agencies but a few are offered through UALR and UAMS.
