Doctor of Audiology: Accreditation, Licensure, and Certification

The Au.D. degree program is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Graduates of the Au.D. program will be eligible to apply to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology for a license to practice audiology in the state. Graduates will also be eligible to apply for optional certification through the ASHA and/or through the American Board of Audiology (ABA). Successful completion of the program does not itself ensure licensure and/or certification. It is the student's responsibility to be familiar with licensure and certification requirements.
