NUTR 5063 - Medical Nutrition Therapy
Online course introducing nutrition as a medical specialty from the
perspective of disease prevention and treatment including assessment,
patient interviewing strategies, medical terminology, nutrition care
plan techniques, and prevention strategies. Prerequisites: a course in
nutrition and in organic chemistry or biochemistry or equivalent, and
consent of faculty.
This three-hour course will be offered during the summer session of 2011 (May
31-July 22). Students will be required to purchase a textbook, but all
other course materials may be accessed from the course Web site. For
