Health Services Research

Core Description

The Health Services Research (HSR) program component of the Arkansas Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) brings together key scientific, clinical, policy, and community stakeholders to facilitate translational research designed to identify pathways for improving health care within Arkansas. HSR is a field of scientific inquiry that uses social, behavioral, and epidemiologic research methods to study the organization, financing, and delivery of health care.

The CCTR’s Health Services Research component strengthens and enhances the existing capacity for HSR in Arkansas by creating a forum through which multiple stakeholders can share ideas and resources and work collaboratively to address common research development goals.Doctor, mom and baby in exam room
