Epidemiology

Core Description

Epidemiology, particularly molecular and community epidemiology, is a strong translational research resource on our campus. Epidemiologists are spread throughout the Colleges of Medicine, College of Public Health at UAMS, and the Arkansas Department of Health. Building on existing strengths, the Epidemiology program component provides the expertise, techniques, and tools to permit the inclusion of state-of-the-art epidemiologic methods in clinical and translational research, with the ultimate goal of improving the health of all Arkansans.
