Core Description

The Education component unifies community partners, graduate/ medical students, and junior faculty across all colleges to access the CCTR's educational resources. Successful UAMS educational programs have outstanding leadership in several areas/disciplines.
College instructor and classThe PhD, MS, and graduate certificate in clinical and translational sciences are tracks in the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences program, with 60 faculty from every UAMS college. Faculty from the UAMS Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health and the Graduate School convened to establish and implement new certificate and degree programs in clinical and translational science.

Pathfinder Committee members are key UAMS faculty members who are top leaders and among the most active researchers. The Pathfinder Committee is committed to ensuring that all trainees, regardless of level (MS, PhD, MD), consistently receive outstanding mentorship and guidance. Pathfinders help develop and train clinical/translational research scientists while strengthening, expanding, and developing clinical and translational science programs.
