Campus Expansion
Welcome to
the Construction Management website. Through the links above
you can access the forms to initiate a project, and check the
weekly status of an on-going project.
In addition, a guide to Consultants and Contractors is
offered to help define the standards expected when working at
UAMS.
The
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock has
several ongoing major construction projects. The projects
include Inpatient and Outpatient Healthcare Facilities,
Psychiatric Facilities, Parking Deck, Central Energy Plant with
Utilities Distribution and Student Housing. The New Residence
Hall was occupied in August 2006.
The projects will be delivered using a master
scheduling, budgeting and materials procurement process. All of
the projects are coordinated by the lead firm and construction
documents are released on a phased basis leading to guaranteed
maximum price fast track delivery.
Also, an addition to the Cancer Research Center and a new
Education building are currently in the design planning phase.
This is an exciting time for UAMS, the State of Arkansas
and the healthcare community and we are proud to be part of it.
