The Chlamydia Basic Research
Society has been organized to provide a forum for the presentation
and discussion of research on the basic biology and pathogenesis
of diseases caused by the chlamydiae. The primary activity of the
society will be a biennial conference where investigators will be
encouraged to present their current research in the areas of cell
biology, molecular biology, genetics, structure, immunology, and
pathogenic mechanisms of disease. Another major goal of the society
is to encourage the active participation of graduate students, post-doctoral
fellows, and new investigators in the meetings and the research
field. |
