Department Owned Vehicles

UAMS Fleet Management offers assistance with the acquisition and disposal of department owned vehicles. Departments that purchase vehicles are responsible for completing routine vehicle maintenance and any necessary repairs. Departments are also responsible for submitting the MV-2 Vehicle report. All fuel purchases and maintenance costs should be included in the report. This information must be submitted to Derek Jones no later than the 15th of each month.

Department owned vehicles are provided with a Wright Express card to be used for fuel, maintenance and repair costs. Wright Express also offers 24 hour Emergency Roadside Assistance. All associated costs will be the department's responsibility.

Note: Drivers are required to complete the Authorize to Operate if driving for UAMS business purposes; this includes state owned, rental or personal vehicles.
