5763 Categorical Data Analysis (S): This course is designed to give students an
overview of statistical methods commonly used for analysis of categorical data.
Some of the topics include binomial and Poisson distributions, analysis of 2x2
tables, Fishers exact test, McNemar test, stratified
analysis, trend analysis and logistic regression. Class activities include
lecture/discussion, group work, analytical assignments and critical literature
reviews.
Prerequisite:
Biostatistics I.
