ARCHD exists in an environment in which significant geographic, racial, and
ethnic health disparities exist. To address this issue, ARCHD:
oversees the process for the solicitation, review, and selection of new
pilot projects based on the evidence-based priorities established by the
Center
fosters additional research which addresses racial and ethnic minority
health disparities, both within the Center to sustain and develop its
programs and outside of the Center to build research to address health
disparities more broadly.
