Specific Aims

Aim 1. Monitor progress of all research projects

Aim 2. Guide analysis of disparities data to determine evolving Center priorities

Aim 3. With above aim, guide/oversee analyses to address two ION-identified research needs:

• "assess disparities among non-African-Americans"

• "develop methods to monitor progress in eliminating disparities"

Aim 4. Guide evolution of Center's heuristic model

Aim 5. Issues RFAs for pilot projects based on priorities

Aim 6. Review and award future pilot projects

Aim 7. With Education Core, provide for mentoring students/trainees within research projects

Aim 8. Review/recommend additional core infrastructure
