Additional Resources
In addition to regularly scheduled teleconferences and guidelines for best practices, additional resource information on a variety of topics are conveniently listed.

Patient Education
The following bulletins may be helpful to those who are pregnant, know someone who is pregnant or to distribute to those who care for pregnant women. They are written in a straight-forward manner that most patients can understand.

Perinatal Conference
The annual conference on perinatal care targets obstetrical and neonatal providers from all over Arkansas. Typical attendees are nurses, physicians, advanced practice nurses, sonographers, genetics counselors, social workers and pharmacists. The conference theme is changed yearly but provides an overview of the latest research in the fields as well as how to best care for high-risk OB patients. Local as well as national experts give informative talks in a formal setting; however, one of the most important aspects of this conference is a chance to network with UAMS health care providers as well as colleagues from around the state. If you’ve never joined us for one of these conferences, consider it and bring your coworkers. The conference is typically held each April in the Little Rock area. Watch the website for further details.
