Fellowship
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in affiliation with Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) offers this pediatric anesthesiology fellowship. The fellowship itself includes extensive clinical experience providing anesthesia for children for a wide variety of surgical procedures, as well as the supervision and education of junior anesthesia residents. The fellowship provides an outstanding clinical and education exposure to the breadth of pediatric anesthesiology, including pain medicine, cardiac anesthesiology, and critical care medicine. In addition, there is the flexibility to provide additional months of training in pediatric pain medicine or pediatric cardiac anesthesia, as well as active involvement in one of many ongoing research projects. Our goal is to provide an exceptional clinical experience in pediatric anesthesiology, and prepare the fellow to excel in either a clinical or academic future.
