UAMS Anesthesiology Faculty
All members of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) hold academic appointments at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). All members of our faculty have completed fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and we believe this extra training requirement helps to make our faculty one of the best.
Over 16,000 anesthetics and deep sedations were performed by our faculty physicians and nurse anesthetists last year. They administer anesthesia or sedation for all types of procedures, including cardiac, general surgery, neurological, orthopedic, radiological, dental, and other medical procedures. They also provide anesthesia and sedation support for the ACH burn center, the only burn center in the state of Arkansas, and provide pain management services to both inpatients and outpatients.
