Who We Are
Founded in 2008, Diabetes Center of South Arkansas (DCSA) is an educational organization. With a shared vision to improve the quality of life for diabetic patients, UAMS/AHEC South Arkansas, Medical Center of South Arkansas, HealthWorks Fitness Center, South Arkansas Eye Clinic, Interfaith Clinic, many local physicians, and nurse practitioners formed a community consortium to educate patients with diabetes.

Our Mission
The mission statement of the diabetes team at Diabetes Center of South Arkansas is to provide quality comprehensive diabetes self-management education. We believe that education is the key to empowering the person with diabetes to better manage his or her disease, to avoid the complications of diabetes, and achieve an optimum health status.

Services We Provide
Taking good care of yourself can seem overwhelming when you have diabetes-whether you have just learned you have the disease or you have had it for a long time. There is a lot to consider, from eating healthy meals, to exercising, monitoring your blood glucose and taking your medications. At the Diabetes Center of South Arkansas, we offer services that will provide you with the right tools and support that can make diabetes self-care very manageable in your everyday life.
