Dr. Coulter completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1986 and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy in 1990 with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with high distinction. She completed a Primary Care/Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice residency with the Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin in 1991. Dr Coulter is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. She was a faculty member with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy and AHEC-Northwest Family Practice Residency Program from 1991-2005 as an Associate Professor. She has presented numerous CE presentations for medicine, pharmacy, and nursing audiences. She has received several teaching awards and completed the UAMS Teaching Scholars Program in 2002. From 2005 to January 2009 she was a clinical pharmacist at Washington Regional Medical Center serving on numerous clinical and administrative committees and practicing in the intensive and coronary care units as well as the Acute Care of the Elderly unit. Dr. Coulter returned to UAMS Northwest Campus in January 2009 and currently serves as Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and a faculty member of the AHEC-Northwest Family Practice Residency Program.
Dr Coulter is married and has three children and resides in Springdale.
