AHEC Northwest Family Medicine Residency Program
Welcome to the AHEC-NW Family Medicine Residency Program. We have a long history of training great residents since our beginnings in 1975. It's interesting and informative to look back on the place from whence we've come and how we got to this point. However, I am not satisfied with just a good heritage or a currently good program. I am committed to pressing onward into new territory, while managing well those resources with which we've already been entrusted. I strive continuously for improvement and willingly embrace change when such is indicated. I am interested in moving toward excellence in all areas of our endeavors, be those in teaching, service or research. We take seriously the legacy we've inherited with a sense of great stewardship and accountability for how we proceed toward the future. We've not yet arrived, but are on a steadfast course of pursuit toward becoming the best we can be. Won't you consider joining in our journey?
