AHEC
North Central will provide needed health care education and other health-related
programs for a 10-county region. It is the first AHEC located within two
community colleges: the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville
and Arkansas State University at Mountain Home. Each college is constructing new
facilities that will house the AHEC's programs.
