Family Practice is a Certified Specialty concerned with the continuing and comprehensive care of individuals and their families regardless of the patient's age.

 FAMILY MEDICAL CENTER:

The AHEC Family Medical Center is a department of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  One goal of the center is to provide you and your family with continuing care.  Another goal for the center is to provide additional training for resident physicians who have completed medical school and want to become family practitioners.  Their education and your care is supervised and aided by medical faculty who are Board Certified in Family Practice or other disciplines.
