Continuing Education

Keeping up with rapidly changing medical information, technology, trends, and procedures is a challenge for all health care professionals, but particularly for those practicing in rural areas. It is difficult, if not impossible, for many rural providers to attend distant educational programs that require travel and time away from the office. Thus, each AHEC provides a regular slate of continuing education courses and special conferences for area health care professionals, and offers them in various locations throughout the regions.
